 You’ve stood with us to honour Dustin Kukari, taken from us on June 13, 2023, and every soul lost to this preventable danger before him. By adding your name, you’ve ensured that these victims are not forgotten, that their lives carry weight, and that their stories fuel our fight to stop the next lifeless body from being pulled from those waters.Your bravery and heart have turned our sorrow into strength. Together, we’ve built a united front, stretching from the streets of Heidedal to the corridors of power, demanding safety, accountability, and a future where no family has to endure the agony of such loss. Because of you, we’re not just mourning—we’re acting to protect the living.

The Next Step, thanks to your steadfast support, our petition is poised for its crucial next move: submission to the Parliament of South Africa. On  March 12, 2025, I will send this plea—infused with your signatures and our shared resolve—to the Clerk of Papers at Parliament, ensuring it reaches the National Assembly for review.We’ll keep you updated at every turn—whether it’s confirmation of receipt, news of a hearing, or calls for further action to keep our momentum alive.
