Urgent Action required to address Anti-Social Behaviour & Drug Activity on Grosvenor Road
The Issue
PETITION TO WEST EALING MET POLICE (WALPOLE WARD) AND EALING COUNCIL
Subject: Urgent Action Required to Address Anti-Social Behaviour and Drug Activity on Grosvenor Road, W7
We, the undersigned residents of Grosvenor Road, W7, urgently call upon the Metropolitan Police (Walpole Ward) and Ealing Council to take immediate and sustained action to address the escalating anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity in our neighbourhood.
Our concerns include:
Persistent visibility of drug dealers and blatant drug use on Grosvenor Road W7 (particularly the Uxbridge Road end/junction of Hatfield Road).
Trespassing by Drug Dealers/Users at 14–18 Grosvenor Road. Used needles and human waste being left in the garages behind the block, posing a serious health risk to residents, including young children.
No secure gating at the front of 14–18 Grosvenor Road, allowing unauthorised access and enabling illegal activity on a daily basis.
Trespassing by Drug Dealers/Users at Trojan Court. Used needles/general drug paraphernalia and human waste being left behind the block, posing a serious health risk to residents, including young children.
Lack of police presence and inadequate CCTV coverage on Grosvenor Road/Hatfield Road, which emboldens criminal activity.
We demand:
Increased and visible police patrols in the area, especially during evenings and weekends.
Installation of CCTV cameras along Grosvenor Road and Hatfield Road.
Immediate assessment and installation of a secure gate to restrict access to the garage area behind 14–18 Grosvenor Road.
This situation is unacceptable and dangerous, and we urge the authorities to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our community.
