The Issue:
The world is witnessing the devastating impact of climate change in real time. In the past year alone, we have seen record-breaking natural calamities, including:

Cyclone Michaung (2023) – Devastated parts of South India with heavy floods.
Turkey-Syria Earthquake (2023) – Though primarily geological, climate-related disruptions worsened rescue efforts.
Hawaii Wildfires (2023) – Led to tragic losses in Lahaina, Maui, exacerbated by extreme heat and dry conditions.
Himalayan Glacial Floods (2023) – Rapid melting of glaciers caused deadly flooding in India and Nepal.
Pakistan Floods (2022) – A climate catastrophe that displaced millions.
The increasing frequency and intensity of these disasters make it clear: we must act NOW.

Our Demands:
1️⃣ Stronger Climate Policies – Enforce stricter carbon emission controls and shift to renewable energy.
2️⃣ Disaster Preparedness Plans – Improve infrastructure to withstand extreme weather events.
3️⃣ Deforestation & Reforestation Plans – Stop deforestation and invest in large-scale tree-planting programs.
4️⃣ Global Cooperation – Wealthy nations must aid vulnerable countries in climate adaptation efforts.
5️⃣ Plastic & Pollution Control – Ban single-use plastics and invest in waste management solutions.

We, the undersigned, demand immediate action to combat climate change and reduce the devastation of natural disasters. If we don't act now, future generations will pay the price.
