Urgent Action Needed:Publish WBJEE Results & WBCAP Merit List Now to Save Students’ Future
The Issue
Respected Sir/Madam,
We, the students and youth of West Bengal, are facing an unprecedented delay in academic and recruitment processes for the 2025 session.
For the academic session 2025, through WBJEE and the WBCAP centralized admission system, even after more than three months:
- The WBCAP merit list has not been published.
- The final WBJEE results remain unavailable.
Meanwhile, students in private colleges have already been admitted and started their classes, leaving government and government-aided college aspirants at a serious disadvantage.
In addition to this, there are delays and uncertainties in:
- JEXPO 2025 Merit List
- JENPAS UG, JELET, JECA, PUMDET, ANM GNM, JEMAS 2025 Exam Form Fill-up
- JEMAS Results
- Various recruitment processes
Why this is harming us :
- Uncertainty about the academic future of students.
- Loss of valuable study time.
- A clear disadvantage to students seeking admission in government and government-aided colleges, as most students in private colleges have already been admitted and have started their classes.
- Our semesters are of only six months duration. If the merit list publication and admission process are delayed further, we will not have enough time to complete the syllabus of the first semester properly.
Our Hon’ble Chief Minister has always been student-friendly and has taken decisions in the best interests of students. Therefore, we sincerely hope that she will intervene in this matter so that the State Government becomes aware of the problem and takes urgent steps to complete the admission process without further delay.
We humbly request the State Government to:
- Publish the final WBJEE results immediately.
- Release the merit list for government and government-aided colleges on the WBCAP portal at the earliest.
- Ensure the admission process is completed quickly and transparently so that no student’s education is disrupted.
- Publish the JEXPO 2025 Merit List without further delay.
- Open the application process for JENPAS UG, JELET, JECA, PUMDET, ANM GNM, and JEMAS 2025 immediately.
We believe that timely action by the Government will safeguard our future and maintain fairness in the education system.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
