I am raising this petition to bring attention to serious concerns regarding veterinary practices at FourPaws Clinic in Vasai, Maharashtra.

My pet dog, Roxy (5-year-old Labrador), passed away following treatment at this clinic. She initially showed symptoms such as persistent vomiting and loose motions. However, no diagnostic tests were advised, and the condition was treated as minor. Her health deteriorated rapidly and was later diagnosed by another veterinary clinic as a severe abdominal infection with suspected intestinal perforation.

Since this incident, multiple other pet owners have come forward with similar experiences involving the same clinic, including inadequate diagnosis, delayed escalation, and tragic outcomes.

In addition to these cases, there are also reported concerns from pet owners suggesting:

Possible involvement of unqualified or non-licensed individuals in handling cases
Instances where vaccinations or treatments may have been administered without proper veterinary supervision, particularly during non-standard hours
These concerns, if verified, raise serious questions about compliance with veterinary regulations and the safety of animals under such care.

This situation highlights critical issues such as:

Lack of timely diagnostic evaluation
Possible gaps in clinical judgment
Potential risk to animal welfare
Need for verification of staff qualifications and clinical practices
A formal complaint has already been filed with the Maharashtra Veterinary Council, and the matter has been escalated to relevant authorities.

Through this petition, we request:

A thorough and transparent investigation into the practices at FourPaws Clinic
Verification of qualifications and licensing of individuals involved in treatment
Appropriate disciplinary action if negligence or violations are established
Stronger enforcement of veterinary standards to prevent similar incidents
This is not just about one pet — it is about ensuring that no other pet and family has to go through a similar loss.
