As a resident of Watermark Place, the growing safety concerns due to the rising number of thefts have begun to cause an unsettling amount of unease. Home break-ins and car burglaries are not infrequent incidents anymore. They have become a recurrent risk to our possessions, our peace of mind, even our lives. It's disheartening to feel insecure in our own homes.

This is a call for an immediate action from Watermark Place leasing office to increase the security measures on the property. We need more surveillance cameras installed across the compound and scheduled patrolling to deter potential crimes and ensure our security.

According to SafeWise, neighborhoods with more security measures experience fewer instances of crimes compared to areas with less security. They suggest that visible surveillance presence can deter up to 70% of would-be criminals (SafeWise, 2019). 

We are appealing to the management of Watermark Place to understand the gravity of the situation and take urgent steps to rectify it. We, the community members, deserve to live without fear in our homes and park our cars knowing they won't be broken into.
