Urge Village Pickle to prioritize members' court access

The Issue

I am a proud member of Village Pickle, where many of us pay approximately $2,000 per year to play the sport we love in a reliable and community-centered environment. Our memberships are built on the expectation that we will have consistent access to the courts, especially on weekends when most members are available to play. For many of us, Village Pickle is more than a facility—it is a community where friendships are built and where we gather regularly to enjoy the game.

Recently, Village Pickle began hosting “Moneyball” tournaments for non-members on weekends, effectively taking courts away from the very members who financially support the facility. These tournaments monopolize courts during peak hours, leaving paying members—many of whom helped build this community—with little or no opportunity to play.

This is unacceptable. Members should not be displaced from a private facility by events designed for non-members.

Village Pickle exists because of its members. When members pay thousands of dollars annually, they should not have to compete with outside players for court access during the most important playing times of the week.

We are calling on Village Pickle to eliminate non-member Moneyball tournaments immediately and restore weekend court access for paying members.

Members joined Village Pickle with the expectation that their membership would provide priority access to the courts. That commitment must be honored.

If you are a member who believes paying members should come first, sign this petition to demand that Village Pickle end non-member Moneyball tournaments and protect member access to the courts.
