This week the US Senate passed the Water Resources Development Act which included a provision Senate Menendez added to accelerate the Rahway Rahway River Flood Mitigation plan. Earlier Congressman Lance was instrumental doing same in House Bill. While the remains work ahead the President is expected to sign legislation which is a major step for the effort. Mayors Council Rahway River Watershed Flood Control applaud federal leaders for moving this to construction.
