Feb 6, 2016 — After a long and extensive assessment of 9 alternatives, the US Army Corps of Engineers is scheduled to make the recommendation to the US Congress to implement the Rahway River flood mitigation plan. Keeping to the schedule puts the plan in strong position for expected funding legislation in 2016. Citizens are urged to send letters to US Congress urging that a reasonable plan is close at hand and should receive serious attention so flood mitigation can be implemented.
