However, these companies have been increasing prices year on year, and last in 2024 by an average minimum of 58%, making it increasingly difficult for millions of families across the country to afford these already high rates.

The cost of driving has become so prohibitive that many people are now having to choose between providing for their families or struggling to pay for car insurance - a choice no one should ever have to make. We urge our representatives in parliament not only acknowledge this issue but also take immediate action towards rectifying it, ensuring fair and affordable pricing in the insurance industry.
