As someone who firmly believes that Israel is an apartheid state, I feel compelled to take a stand against any form of support for this regime. One such form of support comes from the sale of “Israeli Feta” in Trader Joe’s stores. This product, while seemingly innocuous, indirectly contributes to the sustenance of an oppressive system.

According to a report by Human Rights Watch (HRW), Israel's treatment of Palestinians amounts to apartheid and persecution, crimes against humanity under international law (source: HRW report 2021). By continuing to stock Israeli products like "Israeli Feta", Trader Joe's is inadvertently supporting these alleged human rights abuses.

We are not asking for much - just one product line removed from shelves. But this small act can send a powerful message that we will not condone or support apartheid in any form. It is time for corporations like Trader Joe’s to use their influence responsibly and stand on the right side of history.
