Well done Thurrock residents especially those who’ve already signed this petition. Let’s make it happen. We’ve just gone over the 1000 mark today and we can now begin a process of entering into negotiations with Thurrock Council with the ultimate aim of forcing them to reconsider this insane proposal. 
At present I am awaiting instructions from Change.org as to our next steps and I will be posting updates as we go along. 
In the meantime, let’s keep promoting the idea until it gets to a number the council cannot ignore. 
Let’s do it and massive thanks to all those who’ve signed so far.
