Let's keep this petition and others growing!

Thank you so much for the incredible support for this petition in urging the UN to end all scientific research on beagles. We are close to hitting 4,000 signatures. 

Today I want to introduce you to Buzz - the research lab survivor. Buzz was born into a breeding facility in Australia. Since Australia keeps all breeding and testing facilities secret from the Australian public, we are not able to tell you where he came from, so location - unknown. He was finally rescued from a testing facility by Beagles Freedom Australia when he was just 18 months old. Buzz is seriously ill. He is suffering from a portosystemic shunt (liver shunt) which means some of his blood was bypassing his liver rather than being properly filtered. 

The past few months have meant vet visits worth over $10,000, a carefully managed diet and surgery. Buzz must remain on a special diet for the rest of his life with further testing ahead. By improving his liver function, he can safely start some behavioural meds to help this nervous test survivor and help him realise that the world isn’t so scary.

Sadly this type of medical condition primarily comes from deadly toxicity testing.  These precious beagles are forced to breathe in deadly chemicals like pesticides by way of an obsolete gas mask, until they either pass out or die. This pain and suffering is what thousands of beagles endure from being forced to live a life of unjustified scientific testing. They are only ever seen as a test object, they are not loved or cared for. They endure test after test, until their bodies can no longer take it. Buzz's health is proof of the unwarranted and ruthless experiments being conducted on beagles worldwide today.

By continuing to spread the word about the scientific testing on beagles, we can help bring this to a global end.
