It is personal to me because we are all citizens of the same world, and we are all a part of the human race.

We need to stand together against genocide, war, and oppression, no matter who it is affecting.

As fellow humans, we have an obligation to stand up.

In recent years, the situation between Israel and Palestine has reached alarming levels of violence and inhumanity. Reports and statistics from credible sources such as the United Nations and various humanitarian organizations indicate ongoing atrocities that include unlawful killings, forced displacements, and severe access restrictions to fundamental necessities, notably in Gaza.

The October 7, 2025, blockade imposed by Israel on humanitarian aid entering Palestine exacerbates the crisis, leaving countless innocent civilians including children, vulnerable to starvation, lack of medical care, and inadequate shelter.

Such restrictions only worsen the already dire humanitarian situation, elevating the risk of further loss of lives and human rights abuses, which are acts of war crimes and genocide.

According to a UNICEF report, over 90% of the water in Gaza is unfit for human consumption, and nearly 50% of essential medicines are at zero stock due to these blockades. Such conditions are unimaginable and urgent action is needed.

We appeal to the United Nations to take necessary and immediate actions to ensure that international laws and human rights are upheld. This includes pressuring Israel to lift these unjust blockades, allowing humanitarian aid to reach those in need, and conducting an independent investigation into allegations of war crimes.

Our shared humanity demands that we act.

We cannot stand idly by while these atrocities continue under the silence of the international community.

Ratified international laws exist to protect those who cannot protect themselves in times of conflict, and it is time these laws are enforced.
