The time for us to act is now! We have an opportunity to save Palestinian children!  

In March 2022, the government flew in sick Ukranian children to the UK for treatment. Their immediate families also accompanied them. Hence, we know that this is a feasable plan. We ask David Cameron to extend that mercy to the Palestinians.  

We have seen too many Palestinian children with horrific injuries, but no access to proper treatment. Speaking from Gaza, Dr. Rik Peeperkorn, W.H.O’s OPT representative, has said that hospital facilities are “completely overburdened and under capacitated…and close to the brink of collapse”. Even basic medical essentials are scarce, to the extent that limb amputations are happening without anaesthetic!  Furthermore, with the operation in Rafah, the situation will only worsen.

Gaza's hospitals are in no position to provide the life-saving care that these children need.

Furthermore, thousands of children in Gaza have no adult guardian. Many of them are, tragically, labelled as "WCNSFs"  – standing for “wounded child no surviving family”. They don't have a single relative who is still alive to care for them. That responsibility falls on us! Children should be protected at all costs.
