As a parent in Leamington Spa, I have witnessed the joy and excitement that the bouncy castle activities bring to our children during school holidays. Run by a local company known for their kindness and care, these activities provide not just fun but also a safe environment for our kids while we shop or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is more than just an activity - it's an affordable, sociable, technology-free experience that is greatly cherished by our community.

However, The Royal Priors have decided to cancel these beloved bouncy castle activities, hiding behind incorrect health and safety reasons. This decision doesn't only affect my child but many others who look forward to this simple pleasure during their school breaks. It takes away from them an opportunity for physical activity and social interaction.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it's crucial for children aged 5-17 years old to have at least 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity daily. These bouncy castle sessions contribute significantly towards meeting this guideline while ensuring they are engaged in a safe and enjoyable manner.

We understand that there may be reasons behind this decision but we believe it's essential that decisions affecting our children consider their wellbeing first. We urge The Royal Priors management team in Leamington Spa to reconsider their stance on cancelling these much-loved bouncy castle activities.
