WE NOW HAVE 2,000 SIGNATURES!!!
Thank you very much to everyone who signed and shared, I took a break from campaigning but I am heading back to it. It's been a while since I met the DFI minister regarding this very important issue. I feel slightly defeated but seeing how the support is still there and growing, it's given me a huge urge to continue to fight this!
My message to the NI Executive is this:
We had enough! We had enough of always getting the raw end of the deal, while our benefits were under threat and while we are still behind in these public transport concessions. Lack of money is no longer an excuse for this, it's not an excuse. I will be looking into organising protests outside Stormont.
When the 2027 election happens and if this issue hasn't been taken seriously by the NI Executive, I will publish a list of all political parties/independent who supports and doesn't support this so everyone can make their informed decisions but I will be encouraging them to avoid the parties who doesn't openly support this campaign or do nothing while they are involved with the NI executive. As soon as any party comes in into the Executive and Assembly, there will be no grace periods or cooling off periods, this campaign will continue and no breaks until changes are made to the concessionaries fares scheme in NI.
DFI and Minister Kimmins, please drop the A5 project, the climate law forbids it, focus on Public Transport instead and help vulnerable individuals who need it because history will judge you.
Thanks everyone for supporting this!
