I would like to thank everyone for their support to this petition and campaign. It's very encouraging that we hit 1,500 signatures and that milestone hit alone means that there is a huge support for this campaign.
I met with DFI Minister Liz Kimmins MLA to discuss the campaign and the ideas that I sent. It was a productive and insightful meeting. I hope when the budget becomes available to the Department for Infrastructure that would be willing to place the building blocks towards helping disabled individuals get free travel. I also bumped into First Minister Michelle O'Neill MLA outside Stormont and I am thankful that she allowed me to have a brief chat and a cheeky photograph!
I would like to thank Minister Kimmins and First Minister O'Neill for their patience and warm hospitality. I would also like to thank the officials of DFI for their time also.
While I was at home, reflecting through the past few days. I saw that my petition signatures have reached 1,500 signatures with a notification that NIPSA is circulating the petition. I would like to give a huge thanks for everyone who have signed and to the people of NIPSA for sharing this!
