Hey Bears,

An important update. We are not going to get what we have wished for. Although the President didn't cancel classes, what matters now is that everyone is safe, dry, and well. My heart goes out to everyone affected. This was a good form of protest. Be sure to always use your voice when trying to make a change. Your voice matters. Don't forget that. :)

And while this email is going out to over 1,000 SSU students, let me take the time and say to be kind. Smile at someone, and let them know that they matter!
