With a deep-seated concern for our nation's sovereignty, we, the ordinary Canadian citizens, are calling for our government to turn its attention to what is a matter of national security. The rise of social nationalism and imperialistic threats from our neighbors, such as the United States under Donald Trump, pose a significant danger. As someone who strongly opposes dictatorial regimes and their potential harm to humanity, this issue is of enormous personal significance to me.

In global relations today, possessing a nuclear arsenal has almost become synonymous with a means of safeguarding national security. As a fervent supporter of government actions that centre on public safety, I, along with my fellow Canadians, firmly believe in our nation's responsible handling of nuclear power.

Maintaining Canada's geopolitical and territorial integrities is indeed a delicate task. Hence, the proactive role of developing a nuclear arsenal will serve to fortify our stance in the face of emerging global challenges. Let's stand together and call upon the Canadian government to consider this measure for our nation's safety and sovereignty.
