Dear Chester Supporters,

We are continuing to take steps and look at all possible future opportunities to save Chester, the wonderful London Plane tree.

Southend Tree Action Group are considering all avenues and one of these includes taking legal advice and possible future legal action against the Council.

With this in mind, we are launching a GoFundMe campaign to help with costs for potential legal avenues and for further campaigning to save this precious tree.

We would be so grateful if you could contribute whatever you can afford and please share our fundraiser with others who you know care a great deal about our wonderful mature street trees, such as Chester.
