The rise of the "anti-woke" movement from the mid-2010s on social media platforms has led to an increase in negativity, misinformation, manipulation, and hate speech online. These content creators have exploited monetization systems on platforms. The most known with this issue is  YouTube, earning revenue from spreading harmful narratives and ideologies. It's not just about YouTube; other apps must also take action. Such as Twitter and Instagram.

 Hate speech is not protected under the banner of free speech. According to a study by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), there has been a significant surge in online hate speech in recent years which correlates with the rise of these anti-woke channels and the far right / alt right movement . The less we do, the more of these channels keep coming and coming. This raises the probability of kids and more impressionable youth being exposed to this type of negative content. As of now, there are at least more than 300 of these anti-woke channels. With even news sites and public figures as well . It is about time we tell social media platforms to de-platform all of these content creators who are contributing to negatively online, spreading hate, and abusing their privileges for their monetary gain.
