As a resident of Lackawanna county in Pennsylvania, the recent conduct of our Senator Bob Casey Jr. deeply disturbs me. I, alongside many others, believe that he should admit defeat to his Republican opposition, Dave McCormick.

Senator Casey's refusal to concede is not merely an example of thwarting democratic principles but also an embarrassment to our home state of Pennsylvania. As a display of our discontent and a demand for respect towards our democratic decision-making process, we believe the removal of his family name from the revered "Casey" highway, is a necessary step should he refrain from conceding.

Debacle aside, it's crucial to remember that in Pennsylvania alone, approximately 4.9 million citizens are registered Republicans, reflecting a significant portion of our population who believe in the party’s values and ideals. These figures indicate that a substantial number of our residents in Pennsylvania vouch for a leadership change (Source: Pennsylvania Department of State).
