I am a member of the Roblox community who has invested years into creating, playing and sharing on this platform. I've spent thousands of dollars building my virtual world and had memorable experiences that have become an integral part of my life. It's painful to imagine losing all of that without a fair warning or chance for any minor violation. Roblox, in its community guidelines, has handed out immediate terminations to users exploiting bugs or glitches for personal gain. While intended to protect the platform, this policy can hurt members who may unwittingly break these rules. It is estimated that Roblox has over 90 million active users, (source: Wall Street Journal, 2020) and it seems unjust that first-time offenders are banned without a 7-day warning. We ask that Roblox reconsider and revise their policy to incorporate a 7-day ban as a warning before complete termination. Members like me who have dedicated significant time and resources should not lose everything over an initial mistake. A change to this policy would show us that Roblox values its community and believes in second chances. Kindly sign this petition and lend your voice to this cause.
