As a community deeply affected by the recent price hikes in Roblox's User-Generated Content (UCG), we are calling for immediate action. This issue is personal to many of us, as children who legally cannot work to earn money make up a significant portion of the Roblox player base. These kids, along with their families who may be struggling financially, are being disproportionately impacted by these sudden and unjustified increases.

Roblox has always been an escape for many children worldwide, allowing them to explore their creativity and engage in immersive gameplay. However, the recent price inflation on UCG has put undue stress on these young players and their families.

While we understand that businesses need to generate revenue, it should not be at the expense of its most vulnerable users. We believe that fair pricing is essential in maintaining a healthy gaming environment where everyone can participate equally.

For an example for the ucg price raises, at this time of writing (25th February 2024) face accessories cost 60 robux at cheapest when the price used to be 15 robux at cheapest.

This face accessory now costs 60 robux. Do you think an item this small is really worth that price?

We urge Roblox Corporation not only to revert UCG prices back to their original rates but also consider compensating those affected by this disturbance. By doing so, they would demonstrate genuine care for their user community and commitment towards maintaining an inclusive platform for all players regardless of financial capability.
