The undersigned are deeply distressed by the corruption allegations surrounding our president, Bongbong Marcos. Personally affected by this corruption, we believe that only his resignation can pave the path for a clean, accountable administration. Corruption not only deters economic growth but also undermines public trust. As per the 2014 report of Global Integrity, a reputed non-profit organization, a significant fraction of corruption cases in the Philippines involve high-ranking officials, highlighting a dire need for institutional reform. We, as citizens, cannot bear the brunt of these corrupt practices. We make this plea to President Bongbong Marcos to step down, stirred by our desire for an administration that respects the rule of law, ensures transparency and prioritizes the people's welfare above personal gain.
