Hello, everyone.

Here’s my honest review of the first two episodes of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. At first, I thought the show was off to a disappointing start overall, despite a few aspects I adore. Yet, after re-watching episode two, I’m actually liking it. My main issues: Captain Ake sitting on her command chair unproperly and too much use of computer-generated imagery.

At least the show is better than the Section 31 movie. I love a few aspects of that new show. If you love the new show, congrats! If you despise it, that’s OK; I totally understand. After all: I’m fine with that show being Star Trek’s final project under Alex Kurtzman’s stewardship.
