McDonald's, General Mills, Starbucks. These leading brands have already publicly committed to 100% cage-free eggs thanks to consumers like you who care about how your food is sourced and the animals that produce that food for you.

Recently, Panera CEO Ron Shaich wrote an open letter to consumers telling us to care, ask questions, demand transparency and cleaner menus. And we want consumers to write him back. Please sign on to our Dear Ron letter and ask Panera to help get hens out of cages by committing to 100% cage-free eggs.

Cage-free is a good step in the right direction for the egg industry; removing hens from crowded, barren cages where they can’t stretch their limbs or even move around. Change is happening and all signs point to a cage-free future of egg production. Let’s keep the momentum going together and ask Panera to make the same commitment and get more hens out of cages.

A commitment from Panera to phase out caged eggs completely would be a huge step towards ending needless suffering for hundreds of thousands of hens.
