I stumbled upon the Netflix series Shadow & Bone totally by accident. I binge-watched both seasons in just four days. The story was so gripping, it compelled me to pick up the books, and for the first time in years, I found myself flying through the chapters. It has been a long time since a story has immersed me so much. However, my excitement was short-lived when I discovered that Netflix had cancelled the series after just two seasons, despite already having a ready script for a third season. Shadow & Bone is an incredible story with a fantastic cast, but sadly, many potential viewers are deterred knowing it was unceremoniously cancelled.

The series is based on the Grisha trilogy and the Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo.

The series’ abrupt end has left a void. And though the adage reads 'No mourners, no funerals', mourning is exactly what passionate viewers, like myself, are doing. It's not about laying the series to rest; it is about breathing life back into it.

Let's show Netflix that there is a dedicated and passionate fanbase for this series that wants to see it reach its full potential.
