I recently traveled to Italy with my mom, and despite paying for a shared Netflix account that allows up to five screens, I found myself blocked from accessing it just because I wasn't at home. What's the point of having a streaming service if I can't use it wherever I am? Streaming is supposed to offer convenience and flexibility, but how can I enjoy these features if I'm restricted from using my own account? I find myself still being charged for a service that I cannot fully utilize, and it feels unjust.

Netflix has been consistently raising its prices, yet it continues to impose restrictions on account usage, particularly affecting those who travel or live away from family homes. Many users like me, who pay for multiple screens, are being unfairly penalized. Why should loyal and paying customers have to start new accounts simply because they choose to travel or have family members living in different locations?

It's time for Netflix to reconsider its pricing strategy and account usage policies. Instead of penalizing loyal subscribers, who have supported the platform for years, Netflix should offer more flexibility, particularly for families or individuals who frequently travel. Access to a shared account shouldn't be limited by geographical boundaries or locations.

We live in a world where people travel, work remotely, live apart from loved ones, or simply move around — and our digital lives should reflect that reality. We’re not asking for loopholes or special treatment. We’re asking to use what we’ve already paid for, without barriers.

Let us watch Netflix when we’re visiting family. Let us use our own accounts abroad. Let us share with the people we care about, no matter where they live. That’s not abuse — that’s modern life.
