I would like to thank all of those that signed this petition, and ask the question that so many people have asked me just recently, and that question is; Why is it taking so long for people to see, know and understand why we need to reassess and have a closer look at our criminal laws and our Judicial system. I know that all of our Magistrates and Judges are only human just like the rest of us, but they hold in their hands the power to render true Justice or to push it under the community rug or carpet, and it's not uncommon to see criminals walk out of court with nothing more than a fine, or a suspended sentence, but when someone who is not guilty of committing any crime is convicted for something he or she did not do or commit, then Justice in the court has failed them, and I like many other people would like to see that error or mistake corrected or made right.
