We believe that the current practices used in their slaughterhouses are cruel, unsustainable, unnecessary and violate the rights of animals. The conditions that animals are subjected to in abattoirs are horrifying. Animals are often kept in traumatic and unsanitary conditions, and they are subjected to abuse causing immense pain and suffering. Our investigation uncovered harrowing abuse at Woodhead Bros. Pigs were routinely hit as they were forced through the system and pushed into the dark CO2 gas chambers.
