As a Florida native, I have witnessed firsthand the rapid decline of our beautiful and unique wildlife. Our ecosystem is losing its richness, with many species on the brink of extinction or heading rapidly in that direction. This concern for animal welfare extends beyond my home state, which brings me to Viola.

Viola is an elderly elephant currently with Jordan World Circus, supplied by Carson & Barnes Circus. She has escaped twice before in 2010 and 2014, according to reports from animal rights groups. It's clear that she is not thriving in her current environment.

Elephants are intelligent creatures known for their strong family bonds and complex social structures. They are not meant for confinement or entertainment purposes but should be allowed to live freely as nature intended.

We call on the Montana Humane Society and PETA to intervene on behalf of Viola. We urge them to ensure her release from the circus and transfer her into a sanctuary where she can live out her final years in peace and dignity.

The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee would be an ideal location for Viola. This sanctuary specializes in elephant care and conservation, providing a safe haven for these majestic creatures who have often been mistreated or neglected.
