Victory! Mayor Mamdani kept his promise

I had the privilege of meeting Mayor Mamdani at a private event at Ground Zero. We had a brief conversation, and he promised he was working to get the documents released.

The Speaker of NYC Council sent Change.org a notification, crediting the petition with helping move the process forward.  She said the boxes would be released and a portal would be created.

And just prior to the 25th Anniversary Memorial, Mayor Mamdani kept his word. The documents are going to a portal, and our community will have answers.

Sonia Agron, Deb Jackson, Fredyda Markow, Jaye Markwell, and I thank every person who signed our petition and raised our voices. We also thank Mayor Mamdani for having the courage to do what other mayors refused to do-provide us with the truth.
