Watching "Yuri on Ice" became more than just another TV series to me. It consumed my thoughts almost every day. It brought back my passion for ballet and figure skating. And above all... 

Its a representation for so many voices. The beauty of Yuri on Ice for the amount of diversity in the show, the first anime to focus on competitive figure skating and despite the time of its release, promoted a very healthy same sex relationship.  

When the show ended, we were all excited with anticipation for a second season. A continuation of the story. More so, when the trailer releases for the movie "Ice Adolescence".  

Everyone knows "Yuri on Ice" made MAPPA. Unfortunately, all of their projects nowadays are for extremely high named shonen ("Jujutsu Kaisen" and :Chainsaw Man" for example) and they are forgetting where their roots lie.  What their fans want. And honestly, how much a release could even benefit their studio. 

For a show that was released quite some time ago, the fan base has never faltered. We're still here, hoping for the release of more of their story. Given it being the 10 year anniversary and the theatrical release of the first few episodes, now would be the perfect time for MAPPA to finally continue the story. 

Please join me in urging MAPPA Studios to make a public commitment to release the "Yuri on Ice: Ice Adolescence" movie and consider producing new content from this beloved franchise.
