Dear Valued Supporters,
Thank you for your incredible support for our petition against Lidl US's unjust pay cuts and demotions. With over 170 verified signatures, we have sent a clear message that Lidl's treatment of its dedicated employees is unacceptable.
However, Lidl management has yet to respond meaningfully to our demands for fair treatment and a just workplace. Therefore, we are escalating our efforts to make our voices heard loud and clear.
We are organizing a PEACEFUL PROTEST-STRIKE (WALK-OUT) this Saturday, July 12, 2025!
We urge all affected Lidl employees, our supportive community members, and anyone who believes in fair wages and dignity for workers to join us.

WHAT: Peaceful Protest-Strike (Walk-Out)
WHEN: This Saturday, July 12, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
WHERE: Lidl (Columbia Heights) - 3100 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20010
Why We Are Striking:
We are striking to protest Lidl's decision to:
* Eliminate the Supervisor role and unjustly demote long-serving employees to "Shift Lead."
* Implement up to a 30% pay cut for these experienced workers, effectively nullifying years of earned merit raises.
* Create an insulting wage inversion where some Associates will soon earn more than their experienced "Shift Leads."
* Offer only a conditional $3/hour premium, which fails to compensate for massive base pay cuts, while other management roles receive unconditional raises.
We believe these actions are a slap in the face to dedicated employees and may constitute unfair labor practices and potentially age discrimination.
