Dear Fellow Lidl Employees and Supporters,

First and foremost, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has already signed and shared our petition! Thanks to your incredible support, we have now collected over 105 signatures, and the numbers are still growing. This clearly shows the widespread concern and unified voice among Lidl employees and our community.

The Fight Is Far From Over!

As many of you know, Lidl US is continuing with its plan to eliminate the Supervisor role, forcing experienced, dedicated staff into the new "Shift Lead" position with substantial pay cuts, often as much as 30%. This is not just a change in title; it's a demotion that devalues our hard work, expertise, and years of service, causing significant financial strain for many families. We've also seen how this impacts our merit raises, further eroding our earnings.

What We Need From You Now:

1. Keep Sharing the Petition: Every single signature adds weight to our collective voice. Please continue to share the petition link with your colleagues, friends, and family who believe in fair labor practices. Every additional signature strengthens our position.

2. Make Your Voice Heard Beyond the Petition:

    ***Reach Out to Lawmakers: Please consider contacting Mayor Bowser, Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, and your local D.C. City Council members. Let them know how Lidl's actions are impacting D.C. families and ask for their support in addressing this critical issue.

    ***Contact Lidl Upper Management: If you feel comfortable, share your thoughts directly with Lidl's upper management and HR. Personal stories can have a powerful impact.

3. Support Upcoming Actions: We are exploring further actions, including a potential in-person strike (walk-out) and formally requesting union representation. Details regarding dates and locations for these actions will be announced TBD as plans solidify. We will need your solidarity and participation to show Lidl the strength of our unity. Your protection for engaging in such activities under the National Labor Relations Act is crucial, and we will provide more information on how to participate safely.
