Currently, laboratories that use Beagles in their tests, or breeders that breed Beagles for the labs, are required by law to have a rehome policy in place in order to be granted a license.

What happens though, is that the ‘no longer of use’ dogs are always euthanised rather than rehomed. 

MBR Acres breed 7,000 dogs a year for laboratories for torturous testing at these establishments, that's 7,000 dogs a year at £7,000 each that we know they charge the labs = £49,000,000... no wonder they don't want to stop this evil trade! IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!

WE KNOW MBR Acres in Cambridgeshire ALWAYS euthanises any dogs they deem unfit for purpose. These might be the runt of the litter, or maybe slightly unwell, or have a disability. These are all dogs that could easily be rehomed. 

Instead, these dogs are needlessly KILLED on site at MBR.

The same happens at Labcorp, Sequani, and all the other labs. Rather than rehome, they will KILL the dogs as it’s easier.*

They kill them and chuck them in a skip or keep them in a van waiting for medical waste collection. It’s much easier, faster, and less fuss to dispose of them this way. 

We have seen so many pictures of dead dogs in yellow bags literally THROWN AWAY into a skip at MBR and Envigo, and the same happens at the other labs and testing facilities.

At the labs, if an experiment isn’t life ending, we are asking for those dogs to be rehomed rather than killed.

PLEASE HELP US! 

We are asking that MBR, ENVIGO (Inotiv) & LABCORP REHOME RATHER THAN KILL THE BEAGLES NO LONGER NEEDED.

We need to get as many signatures as possible so this issue cannot be ignored.

We want the government to INSIST the labs and breeders enforce their rehoming policy rather than euthanising as a first resort.
