Hello readers. I am writing with a heartfelt plea reflecting on the actions of streamers abroad. Japan, Thailand, Korea, and all around the world, I have been welcomed by exceptionally compassionate and respectful communities during my visits. These countries and their citizens deserve tourists who respect their culture and people, individuals who understand the power of respect.

Unfortunately, there are individuals in the streamer community on Kick, YouTube and Twitch who have demonstrated unacceptable levels of harassment and disrespect on these people for ad revenue. Prominent examples include Johnny Somali, who was arrested and deported for his behavior; Fidias, with his blatant evasion of train fares; and Ice Poseidon, who facilitated disruption on public transport and encouraged insults towards the Yakuza which could potentially endanger the young woman he encouraged.

This behavior not only incites violence and unnecessary problems but it also seriously affects the foreign relations in regards to tourism between countries. Furthermore, it undermines the principle of these open platforms, creating an unhealthy and toxic environment for viewers across the globe.

These actions should face stern repercussions, such as bans or fines, as a deterrent to such behavior. It is time Kick, YouTube and Twitch took a stand against such unruly behavior and enforced stricter regulations to protect respect for communities worldwide, mirroring sentiments from other social media platforms.

The commitment to promoting a healthy environment on these platforms and around the world is a duty we all share. Let's encourage Kick, YouTube, and Twitch to take a stronger stance against these disruptive behaviors. Let's show companies we won't stand for this. Hit them where it hurts their pockets.
