I am an ardent model railroader and train enthusiast. My passion for this hobby is deeply rooted, and like many others in our community, I have come to rely on the quality products from Kato Precision Railroad Models, Inc. However, there is one glaring omission in their product line that continues to puzzle me - the lack of a DCC (Digital Command Control) Controller - one that is compatible with their brand of track - KATO Unitrack.

Kato has already made strides into the world of DCC by releasing their own locomotives equipped with this technology. This advancement has been welcomed by enthusiasts like myself who appreciate the enhanced control and realism that DCC provides. Yet without a dedicated controller from Kato itself, we are left having to pair these excellent locomotives with controllers from other manufacturers.

The absence of a proprietary controller not only seems inconsistent but also poses potential compatibility issues which can detract from the overall user experience. With over 30 years in business and a reputation for high-quality products (Source: Model Railroader Magazine), it's reasonable for us as customers to expect Kato to provide us with comprehensive solutions for our model railroading needs.

By introducing their own DCC Controller, Kato would be taking another step forward in serving its customer base while also enhancing its competitive position within the market. We believe that such an addition would be well-received by model railroaders worldwide who value consistency and compatibility when choosing their equipment.
