Recently thousands of dogs entered Israel from Gaza, since the fence is broken. Southern Israel had a stray dog crisis even before the war started. Now animal rescuers are overwhelmed by the increased dog population. There is no space in shelters & the entire region is a war zone. The Israeli agriculture ministry decided to 'solve' the problem in a cruel way; they poison and shot the dogs.

Israelis were shocked that Hamas terrorists shot dogs, but now the Israeli Agriculture Ministry does the same to dogs from Gaza, this is wrong! 

We believe there are more humane and effective ways to manage the large dog population, such as implementing sterilization programs and establishing large shelters where these dogs can be cared for, with the help of international donations.
