The editorial cartoon that Gretna administration forced students to take down is now available on my site, republished with the artist's permission. I'd encourage you to look at it for yourself and form your own opinion.

You might agree with it. You might not. That's not the point. The point is that a student journalist created a piece about a national news story and was told to remove it. Not because it was inaccurate. Not because it was libelous. Because it made administrators uncomfortable.

This has never been about the politics of the cartoon. It's about whether student journalists have the freedom to do their job. That's it.
