Still no new news on the grid archive and all those jobs they've been advertising and why and how we'll update you as soon as we have information

in the mean time perhaps you might like to come to talk about finds on the Riverside and the mudlarks

Wake up! Christmas is over and it’s 2026 already. Greenwich Industrial History Society’s first talk of the New Year is from Nicola White, famous Thames mudlarker.
Nicola will be talking by Zoom – no need to go out in the cold – on Tuesday 13 January, gathering at 19:15 UK time for a 19:30 start.
Nicola is a local artist, a YouTuber – with the name Tideline Art – and a licensed Thames mudlark.
In her talk she will be taking us on a journey of discovery along the river, revealing the extraordinary stories of forgotten people and places through objects found in the mud.
