Hopefully you will all be pleased to learn that this morning we have passed the 2500 mark for signatures, We should  congratulate ourselves and - please - carry on signing

THE COUNCIL AND THE ARCHIVE AND US ...... We have reported in previous updates that the Greenwich archive was due to be reviewed by a Greenwich Council Scrutiny Committee in early April.   However that meeting never took place and we understand that the report on the archive will be discussed at a meeting after the Council's Annual Meeting in May. We don't know when that will be but look forward to finding out and will report here

We understand that the presentation which was not discussed at  the Scrutiny Committee in November has been completely changed - but we don't know the new contents.  We will report back to you when, and if, we find out.

AND WHAT ELSE HAVE WE DONE ??? .... What has Greenwich industrial History Society been doing?? Please keep an eye on our Facebook page because that will advertise not only our events but events from other organisations.

 - and we will try and report back here as frequently as I can

ZOOM  TOO .Greenwich Industrial History Society hosts a free monthly talk which is always done on Zoom.  How do you find out how to get the link? Keep an eye on our Facebook page and in the week before the lecture date you will find instructions for getting the  link sent to you.
