A Happy New Year to all those who have signed our petition on the Greenwich archive and museum - or rather lack of them!.  And also Happy New Year to everyone else too!!

Can I remind you all that Greenwich Industrial History Society exists to promote increased knowledge about our high achieving industrial past in South East London/ North West Kent!  We'd love to know about YOUR research, your interest, your background.  The easiest way to contact us is through the Greenwich Industrial History Facebook page  which is always up-to-date.  There are also a couple of old blogs and an ancient web site still knocking about on the net - hopefully to be replaced soon - they will provide a means of getting in touch with the GIHS Officers and Committee, if very slowly.

We are also circulating information about recordings of recent talks now available on Youtube.

Meanwhile - just keep getting people signing the petition - Christmas gatherings may well be over but you can still nag your Gran, Uncle Joe and the Boy Next Door into signing.  We will keep it open until the Greenwich Officers report gets onto the Council Agenda, probably at the end of January or perhaps February.
