TLTR: Google does not allow developers from Georgia to receive payments for paid applications.

I am a passionate app developer from Georgia, eager to contribute my skills and creativity to the global tech community. However, my potential is stifled by the lack of access to Google's Play Developer program with paid apps in our country. This limitation not only hampers my personal growth but also restricts the growth of Georgia's burgeoning tech industry.

Georgia is home to a rapidly growing IT sector, with an increase of 20.5% in IT professionals between 2018 and 2019 (Geostat). Despite this promising trend, Georgian developers are unable to monetize their applications on one of the world's largest platforms - Google Play Store. This restriction limits our ability to compete on an international scale and stifles innovation.

Google has always been at the forefront of technological advancement and inclusivity. By expanding its Developer Program with paid apps into Georgia, it would be supporting local talent and contributing significantly towards nurturing a vibrant digital economy here.

We urge Google not only for fairness but also for fostering innovation and economic growth in countries like ours where technology can play a pivotal role in development.
