Citizens Advice Exeter is more than just a charitble organisation, it's our lifeline. Its quality assured advice has been instrumental in helping the residents of our city navigate their way through various complexities for over 75 years. Without their service, many vulnerable people would be left floundering. This critical aid has served over 6,000 people with 20,000 problems in the 2023/24 period alone.

Yet, we stand on the precipice of losing this cherished source from April 2025. Exeter City Council's decision not to provide the necessary grant funding would have deep, far-reaching consequences on the community. The potential impact is a reality many of us are not willing to entertain. 

Exeter City Council, we kindly urge you to take into account the incredible value of Citizens Advice Exeter. Your financial support ensures individuals in our city do not have to face their problems alone but are offered a hand to find a way forward. The invaluable guidance and comfort provided by the Citizens Advice Exeter is a testament to the vibrant community spirit of our city.

Kindly reconsider your decision and continue to grant fund Citizens Advice Exeter beyond April 2025. The resilience of our community hangs in the balance.
