I am writing as a SkyMiles member and Delta credit card holder to express my deep concern about Delta's role in transporting 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father, Adrian Conejo Arias, from Minneapolis to a detention facility in Texas on January 21, 2026.

 Airport surveillance footage now confirms that this child and his father were escorted through the Delta terminal at MSP and boarded a nonstop Delta flight to San Antonio, where they were taken to the Dilley Immigration Processing Center. A child with a Spider-Man backpack was flown on your airline to a detention facility. That is not something your customers should be asked to accept. 

 Delta's public response so far has been that government travel is booked through third parties and that the airline had no advance notice. That is not accountability. That is deflection. In 2018, American, United, and Frontier Airlines publicly asked the Trump administration not to use their flights to transport children separated from their families, and on that same day, the family separation policy was reversed. Delta has the power and the platform to take a similar stand. 

 I am asking Delta to: 

 1. Publicly disclose whether additional detainees, including children, have been transported on Delta commercial flights. 
2. Adopt a clear policy refusing to allow ICE to use Delta flights to transport detained individuals to detention or deportation. 
3. Issue a public statement addressing the transport of Liam Conejo Ramos specifically. Until Delta takes meaningful action, I will be reconsidering my loyalty as a SkyMiles member and my use of the Delta credit card. I urge Delta to use its influence as a major airline to stand on the right side of this issue. 

This is a call to action for all of us who believe in justice and human dignity. Let us remind Delta Airlines of the power and responsibility they hold. Join me in urging Delta to end their involvement in ICE transports.
