We will CONTINUE the petition until City Council adopts the LA County Mask Ban AND all stated requirements in the petition are implemented in an ACTIONABLE manner! Please continue to share. Given the 60 day ordinance implementation for LA County Board of Supervisors we anticipate not having an update from City Council for a few weeks.

• One city council member was falling asleep (Allen) during public comments, most were listening.

• Their Consent Calendar they voted in included to CANCEL the next Council meeting and will not meet again until September 2 due to the National Night Out which Baldwin Park and other cities nearby cancelled due to immigration raids.
