I am an impacted individual who has been significantly affected by the sudden closure of Universal Kids at midnight ET on March 6, 2025. Despite having programs scheduled up till 6am ET, the channel was officially shut down after an interstitial musical segment from Norman Picklestripes. This closure was further affirmed as Universal Kids' official website was redirected to the Universal Kids Resort website earlier on the day of shutdown. As a fervor viewer and follower, it was heartbreaking to see Universal Kids' YouTube channel privatizing all its videos, thus wiping away a key space where millions had engaged with their content.

Though the TV channel was considered lowly-rated by some, the YouTube channel of Universal Kids painted a different picture. It was home to multiple videos with viewership crossing the 10 million mark, proving that there was a vibrant and engaged community of viewers. Universal Kids offered unique and tailored content that millions across the world appreciated, and this community, scattered as it is now, yearns for the return of its beloved channel.

We strongly implore Comcast and NBCUniversal to consider the viewership community as they reassess the future of Universal Kids (2019-2025 rebrand).
